Does your Android "Settings" "All apps" miss tons of installed apps?

If so, what app do you use to _correctly_ list all installed apps?
o <https://i.postimg.cc/y6mPQQbM/appdrawer01.jpg> app manager apps

To reproduce:
1. Go to your Android settings & press whatever "apps" button you have
2. Then press whatever "all apps" button you have (menus vary it seems)
3. Compare the number of apps "Settings" found to a typical app manager
4. My "Settings" found, for example, only 2/3rds of the installed apps

Literally, _hundreds_ of installed apps were missing from that listing!

Here are illustrative screenshots proving the huge difference:
o <https://i.postimg.cc/9XBsgmt9/appdrawer05.jpg> 437 apps installed
o <https://i.postimg.cc/XYnhh0N5/appdrawer04.jpg> 665 apps installed

The reason it matters is sometimes we want to know from whence apps came:
o <https://i.postimg.cc/RhLP5Rb9/appdrawer06.jpg> Genesis of apps

And, we want to know about trackers and permissions in gory details:
o <https://i.postimg.cc/bNqRK0Xs/appdrawer02.jpg> disabled apps
o <https://i.postimg.cc/ht5bzHXd/appdrawer03.jpg> lots of detail

Notice for the apps it does show, "Settings" tells you the origin:
a. App installed from Package installer (i.e., likely from F-Droid)
b. App installed from Aurora Store (i.e., it's a Google Play overlay)
c. App installed from Aurora Droid (i.e., it's an F-Droid overlay)
d. Most apps don't say a thing, as shown in that screenshot above
(Note: They're perhaps most likely pre-installed apps, I guess.)

Missing hundreds of installed apps is not a small number (basically 1/3 of
my apps are missing if I use the "Settings" menu), which is why I ask
if you trust your Android "Settings" to report accurately on the apps.

I don't.

Instead, I use accurate utilities, such as "My App List" & "App Manager"
