How do I print my SMS messages ?
Preferentially get the messages to my Windows 7 Pro PC.
I need a free app.

Currently, for some reason, my Samsung J3 Mission, will not let me back
up the SMS phone messages to my GMAIL account.

I've used this app for years to export and import sms and call logs
between phones, you can get it to autmatically sync to google drive,
from where the XML file would be readable on a PC

As an aside, the need to be able to read and store SMS via e-mail is why
I ported my main mobile number to Google Voice.

In addition to the previous solutions...

The entire Android phone is simply a drive letter on Windows.
o So what's on Android is on Windows; & vice versa (IMHO).

Given the _many_ possible solutions, I think the simplest solution
o Is to choose a good SMS app that does backups on its own

See, for example:
o Best free SMS app for Android

Yet, there are _plenty_ of other solutions for SMS backup to Windows...

For example:

o Forwarding Text Messages to Email, by Orlando Enrique Fiol

And, in general (including SMS/MMS):
o What free non-root Android backup & restore solution do you recommend for general use?

And, for the power users:

The high cost of freeware is in finding & testing the best ones to use.
