I have it. It has a couple of gratuitous changes, like URL bar to bottom
and some bugs[*]. I'm not hating it, and not furious, but I know from
long experience, Internet users generally hate gratuitous changes.

[*] Parts of the page on mobile.twitter.com sometimes show up in the
wrong place, specifically a bar that should be anchored to the
bottom is sometimes anchored a bit above the bottom. The pop-ups
for downloaded images don't go away automatically, too.

I put off getting it, mozilla decided I'd waited too long and not my
tablet has it, it's not that bad ...

you can move that back to top

If it had killed uBlock I'd be furious, but it hasn't, it has killed I
Don't Care About Cookies, which is a bit annoying

I haven't tried the update, but last time I used FF on a Galaxy Note 4
performance was absolutely awful - much worse than Chrome on the same phone.
I hope the update has made it competitive.

I'm not sure if GeckoView is a wrapper around Gecko to make it an
Android component, or a completely separate browser engine? If the
latter I doubt Mozilla's capability to support it long-term.

I've now used it and can't really object to the changes.
It was easy to move the address bar to the top and noticed it now starts
up with a choice of different 'Collections' of previously opened tabs.
They are easy to edit and for me it works.
But I do most of my browsing with the DuckDuckGo browser which follows
the previous FF format.
