smail Syntax Help

Apologies upfront for this basic question.

I am new to smail and am trying to locate information on the syntax.

I am currently trying to send an Email with an attachment from a
windows server using:-

start > run > cmd

I can send an Email without an attachment but not with one.

Think I may need to use the -mime or -uuencode commands but am unsure
of the syntax to use.

Any help/pointers would be great.
