Subject: DON'T DELETE THIS MESSAGE -- FOLDER INTERNAL DATA
X-IMAP: 0947862849 0000003864
Status: RO

This text is part of the internal format of your mail folder, and is not

a real message. It is created automatically by the mail system
software.
If deleted, important folder data will be lost, and it will be
re-created
with the data reset to initial values.

the message talk's in X-IMAP but i dont have IMAP working in this
computer !!!
can any one help me ????

Dont do anything - wu-imap generates this automatically - and so does pine.
You can just delete it and forget all about it. In fact if you use pine you
won't even see this message.

In other clients - find some filter to turn it off / delete it

In mutt, say -

folder-hook . "push \"l!(~s 'FOLDER INTERNAL DATA')\n*\""

I think this is an normal message, that you receive from pine (the mail
program). Look at this (taken from
http://www.helpdesk.utah.edu/faq/donotdeletemsg.html)

Why do I keep getting this email message:

DON'T DELETE THIS MESSAGE -- FOLDER INTERNAL DATA

Pine puts that message at the beginning of your mail file. Every time you check
your mail with a pop client, like Netscape, that message gets deleted. The next
time you run pine, it gets recreated. Pine uses it to store information about the rest
of your email messages. There is no harm done when you download all of your
email and get that message.

One way to avoid getting a copy of this message every time you switch mail
programs is to use IMAP instead of POP. Most new email programs allow you to
use either. IMAP allows you to view your mail without downloading it to your
machine first (like pine), and the IMAP server ignores that message. Check your
preferences for an IMAP option.
