Sendmail an SSL

Hello,

In Netscape Messenger there is possibility to use SSL or TLS for sending
encrypted or signed e-mail. How can I set sendmail to have support for
those features?

You can use stunnel on your sendmail box to provide SSl support:

http://mike.daewoo.com.pl/computer/stunnel/stunnel.html

I use a similar method to get SSL support for LDAP.

This feature won't be available in the open source version of sendmail
due to the export restrictions of the USA.
Support for TLS is planned for the commercial version of sendmail,
since it will be only available in binary form.
