UVscan process most CPU

I have sendmail with amvasid-new to which is attached McAfee UVSCAN as
antivirus software.
Since few days my server often shows idle state as 0 % so my sendamil
8.12.10 and popper processes are very slow.
I can see all UVSCAN processes use most CPU, for example see below
part of top command output.

uvscan 4 seems to be broken, get 533
The update process also seems to be broken.
Perhaps you should instead use other antivirus engines, such as clamav.
