The email mining from the far east stopped, only to be replaced by more of the
same from Central and South America (all but 3). Again, most of these are
listed in proxies.relays.monkeys.com.

When you say "...far east stopped", do you mean you successfully stopped it
from your system? Stats from our system are:

Summary for APNIC 33,079 (spam attempts)
Summary for LNIC 2,371

for the period 9/7 thru 9/27

LNIC seems to be picking up, but APNIC is the "winner" here by many orders
of magnitude.
