Anyone know of the leading applications (COTS) that I could use to
handle email delivered to postmaster account, e.g. Automated handling of
all bounced mail without having to determine what is a "hard" bounce and
what is a "soft" bounce. Prevent future Hard bounces to same email
adddress using some sort of database. Soft bounces, such as "mailbox
full" or "receiving MTA not responding" need to be requeued for later
delivery..
Any ideas to what are the leading applications in this space..
Additional info.. using Netscape Messaging Servers on HP-UX
Thanks for the advise in advance..

There's no such thing as a "hard bounce" or a "soft bounce". There's just
a plain old "bounce". The MTA determines whether an error condition
requires another delivery attempt, and all non-delivery reports represent
hard, permanent, failures.
This doesn't have anything to do with IMAP either.
