hi
We have our domainname as "aaa.bbb.ccc" which is not connected to internet
directly but our root domain "bbb.ccc" is connected to internet directly .
We have DNS (MX) records for our domain i.e "aaa.bbb.ccc" and MX records for
"bbb.ccc" .
Our Mail exchanger is (Mircosoft Exchange server] .
Our network is running on solaris 2.6 and we don't have any existing mail
server (server exporting its /var/mail direcotory) to clients all machines
(ultra 10) have their own /var/directory . I have
following queries regarding sendmail :-
1) What conf should we have on clients so that we can send mail to internet
directly from our unix clients .
2) If we would have a mail host (server running sendmail) as our MX and we
have mail server (server exporting /var/mail directory] to clients and we
want that any mail which comes to
our domain should automatically go to that mail server where we centralized
mail boxes .
Regards
Manish
