Do we need client certificates?
Our mail servers are behind a CSM load balancer, so they all have the same server certificate, with the hostname of the CSM. But they each need a client cert with their own name in it.
Is mutual authentication with a client cert commonly done? Should we expect problems if we don't have client certs?

It's a "manual" configuration (usually used between two parties

that agree to enforce authentication).
So only you know whether you "need" client certs.
