I installed SpamAssassin on my mail server system running Sendmail
8.12.x, Procmail and SpamAssassin 2.44 on a RH 7.2 platform. I tried
the SpamAssassin RPM install seemingly unsuccessful and then went to
the .gz file. This seems to be working okay. However when I check the
procmail.log file I get the following:
[root@mail spamassassin]# tail -f /var/log/procmail/procmail.log
procmail: Lock failure on "almost-certainly-spam.lock"
procmail: Error while writing to "almost-certainly-spam"

Q: Do I need to create these files? And if so, then where? Or, have I
just not installed SA correctly?
