Hi,

I'd like to know how can I add my other 3 email accounts to alpine.
And of course I need to reply with the matching smtp for each account.
(I dont want to use one universal smtp for all accounts.)

Thanks!

Yes, you need to add each folder as an incoming folder.

In order to set up the smtp server use a role. Press M S R R and set up
one.

I have help on setting up each of these in my web page (see below). I hope
they help you.

Sorry for the above post, it was an error.

I have created an incoming folder. but it tells me "Folder Joe opened
with 0 messages".
When I use webmail i have 12 messages in inbox, not 0 messages. What
could be wrong?

Is this a Gmail account? I gave up on them a long time ago. Drop gmail, if
that's the case.

If not, then there are possibilities:

a) The inbox path is wrong. That is you are requesting a folder which is
not your inbox, but webmail knows that path.

b) Maybe your server deletes messages from your inbox and transfers them
to a special place so that your webmail program can see them. Try seeing
if this is the case by first opening your IMAP folder, and then your
webmail. Send yourself a test message from some other account to test for
this.

c) Are you using POP? If so, some servers remove messages from the server
as long as they have been read. Again, gmail is not your friend.

d) Finally, check for any settings in your webmail part that might affect
this behavior.
