Hi Alpiners,

I have a Windows 7 system and I'd love to be able to use Alpine
2.02 (or later) on it. I'm using alpine-2.01.exe, which I got
from here:

<http://sourceforge.net/projects/re-alpine/files/>

But it wasn't compiled with passfile support. I know the
passwords are stored somewhere else (the registry?) on Windows,
but I'd like to use a passfile so I can easily share the passfile
between Linux, Mac, and Windows systems.

Thanks to the Re-Alpine team for keeping Alpine alive!

Nancy,

Long time no see. If you would like to have a custom version of
alpine with password
file support let me know and I will give you one. Send me an e-mail to
chappa at washington.edu. I will send you
a link to download it.

Thanks very much Eduardo, but I like to use software that's
available to the public because I like to write about it. I'm
hoping to get back to writing/blogging soon!
