Hi All,

I use alpine and a blackberry (BB) to read my mail. There isn't any
syncing between our IMAP mail server and the BB so messages that are
read in one place don't automatially get marked as read in the other.

Not a big deal for me.

I do however at the end of the day, go through my alpine inbox to
"mark as read" the messages I've seen on the BB. The quickest way I
can spot of doing this is pressing the right arrow on the message and
then quickly pressing the left arrow to get back to the main view.

Is there a way to just "mark it as read" with a single keystroke? e.g.
just as pressing "D" marks for deletion and selects the next message
in the inbox.

Thanks!

tk

you can try this:

. Mark all read messages with :
. and then: A * ! N (will mark all selected messages as not new.)
