how to stop the .pine-debug file

Mike,

start pine with: pine -d 0

see this in the Help menu under Command Line Options,
You can set this up as an alias in your shell so that
you don't actually type in pine -d 0

that is about the same question i asked earlier. on primenet.com they
have 2 versions of pine that you can use, 3.96, and 4.02
