Hello,

I'm new to this ng and haven't had time to scour every single message in
this group, so I'm not sure if this question has been answered already.

I have configured Pine to read news, however is there command to delete them
all without doing it manually? This is one way I was told to do it, but it
doesn't seem like it describes how to delete them:

Enter the Setup menu from the main menu of pine. Hit Config, and then
scroll down to advanced command preferences. There's an
enable-aggregate-command-set or something like that. Put it an x in it and
save.

When you look through the newsgroup list, it'll all look the same, but if
you hit "o", you should get some other commands, like ";" for select and "a"
for apply. Use one and then the other to do multiple things at once!

Thanks

Regards,

Emily

Yep, that's how you do it. To delete all messages, press ; to select, A
for all, the A for apply, and D to delete.
