Is re-apline-2.01.exe the executable that replaces alpine.exe or is it an
automated installer that expands several files?

alpine.exe is 7.3-MB big and re-apline.exe is much smaller. Does re-alpine has
all features of alpine?

Any good or bad experience with re-alpine?

I just installed it, the windows prog. re-alpine.exe loads a file
alpine.exe into a user specified folder. The user replaces the
current alpine.exe in the alpine folder (typically C:\Program
Files\Alpine\ ) with this new file. The release notes claim a lot of
bug fixes and minor improvements. Simple to try it with no apparent
effect on the current Windows setup.
