Strange message appearing in my in-box every 10 seconds

Something is messed up with my in box. Here's a screen shot of my inbox after a couple of minutes. A new message appears every 10 seconds or so. The messages disappear when I close Pegasus, but then the process starts again.

The messages shows up as urgent. From the properties page is lists that it is From: ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌ̈¨ ÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌÌýýýýÝÝÝÝ

I'm running Windows 10 with a brand new installation of Pegasus 4.72. I tried an update but to no avail.
