incorrect glyphs in mutt index

Hi,

Some glyphs are displayed incorrectly in the index, especially in the
sender's name, even though they show up correctly when I view the
message; also the accented characters in the subject show up correctly
in the index. I think this only happens for iso-8859-2 encoded
messages. I am using the patched Mutt 1.5.21 in Debian, but the
problem shows up for the plain vanilla version too. I am running mutt
in a terminal emulator (yakuake) inside screen, but I tried other
terminals and the same thing happens.

I have read MuttFaq/Charset, but could not solve this issue, the
locales appear to be correct (I have no problem with utf-8 encoded
messages).

Any hints on how to solve this would be appreciated.
