Hi, all!

Recently I began to use mutt as my email client. Since there is a
firewall in my college, I must use a remote smtp server to deliver mail.
I'm not familiar with "sendmail". And I'm terrified by its huge manual.
Can someone give me a simple solution?

Thx in advance!

Check out ssmtp[1], all it does is deliver mail to an external SMTP
server.

I know that I may not be the authority on this, as I just posted a rather
lengthy post about nothing working, but I used GNU Anubis on my previous
installation with good results. You may take a look at that.

And if you have any questions about Anubis, feel free to ask me. I
wrestled with it for a little while, so I may be able to help.

This is interesting. However, I notice that it doesn't keep a
queue. It seems to me that this would result in undesirable
behavior when the remote SMTP server is down -- ssmtp would have
to return failure, instead of queueing the mail for later delivery.
