sorry for the crossposting, but this is an urgent matter.
*In the name of all Hotmail users*
I demand an official explanation by Microsoft, explaining the current
access/speed problems with their Hotmail service and a deadline of when the
problems are going to be solved.
Background:
Hotmail has been very slow recently and often blocking out users.
E-mail is an essential service of the Internet and Microsoft has the ethical
responsability to keep the service running for its customers. If this can
(temporarily) not be accomplished, an official notification should be given.

Two phrases come to mind. "You get what you pay for", and "beggars can't
be choosers". If you need reliability, and if you want leverage, you
should probably be using a paid service.

I finally got an email through to the Hotmail service system asking them to
explain or fix the speed problesm, and this is the response I received:
Recently we've experienced slowness due to networking issues internal to
the site. We're very sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused our
members. We've been working round the clock to address these issues and
have made modifications to the site to increase networking capacity.
Members should see improved performance as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
MSN Hotmail Support Representative
At least they admit there's a problem. I also complained about their pathetic
support service but no response on that issue.
