2 choices:

1 Ask him for his address ... if he doesn't know it, you may wish to ask
yourself if you really wish to correspond with him anyway ... But I
digress ...

2 Have him send you an e-mail, then look at the 'from' header.

Have a nice day, even if you've made other plans ;-) Tallyho !

Another thing is that possibly AOL's mailer daemon is acting up again.
AOL has been known to have slow email-slower than the USPS even!

If you were to lurk alt.aol-sucks, you'd know about that already.
Anything's possible over there. :)

Thanks for your e-mail to NameS...@aol.com.

It is now possible to search America Online's Member Directory from
the WWW! If you have access to a WWW browser (either graphical or
text-based), point it at the following URL:

http://home.aol.com/

NOTE: the gateway is still being tested, and may become unavailable
without notice.

If you do not have a WWW client or WWW access, read on...

To help us serve you better, please include as much information about
the America Online member as you can. With in excess of 2.5 million
users, it is difficult to provide accurate results with only minimal
search criteria.

For best results, please send the following information:

- User's Real Name
- User's State and City

If you can supply a telephone number, that will also assist us in
searching.

Please do not request private information about America Online
members; we cannot provide this information, and will not respond to
queries of this nature.

Depending on the nature of your query, we may forward your request to
the America Online member for whom you are searching. It is their
perogative to reply or ignore your request. We cannot force members to
respond to their mail.

Finally: until an Internet-wide standard for user identification and
lookup exists, you may find that the most accurate (and quickest) way
to get in touch with someone who also happens to be on the Internet is
to call them on the telephone or send postal mail.

If you have questions or concerns, or wish to report an incident of
Internet or USENET abuse, please send mail to postm...@aol.com.

Regards,

The Internet Feedback/Response/Information Team
America Online, Inc.
