I currently use Yahoo for free email.

However, there's a limit of 5Mb for the mailbox size, and if I
subscribe to a discussion listserv and don't keep up, the mailbox will
soon fill up and block/bounce subsequent email.

What I need is a free email account that lets me select and download
all (or part) of my list of emails to my hard-drive so that
they can be deleted off the email-provider's computer, and give me
more time to sort through my emails.

Any recommendations?

Do you have a paid-for web site? If so, I know a VERY cheap host that
offers web-based eMail. I host my sites with them for something like $3 a
month, have unlimited eMail redirects and 10 eMail based eMail accounts I
think.

Plus all the extra goodies of a web host of course.

What's wrong with FREE Cold_mail.com and MZ inlook slow?

It costs me ZERO to have 15 Cold_mail.com accounts.
They all download to my pc automatically every couple minutes through MZ
Inlook Slow which is also FREE to download from MacroHard web site.

Never use namenumber in cold_mail.com. Use underscore.
Otherwise prepare to sip through junk mails.

MZ, MacroHard, cold_mail.com are here to prevent any copyright violation.

Why not use the tools designed for your needs with your current (Yahoo!)
account?

EPrompter will download email from multiple Yahoo or Hotmail
accounts, right into its own mailboxes. Quick, easy. Benefits of
their spam blocker. Just look at the headers, read the ones you
want, delete the rest. Never have to visit Yahoo or Hotmail slow
login pages.

I've been using YahooPOPs since that last 2 versions (it was a bit flaky
before then). Rather than leave your e-mails sitting in your Yahoo
account and consuming your disk quota there, download them using
whatever is your favorite POP3 e-mail client, like Outlook, Netscape
Mail, Mozilla, Eudora, or whatever. YahooPOPs makes Yahoo look like a
POP3 server but without having to pay Yahoo for the POP3 access.
