no new mail query

Hi,

I have compiled and built imap4 rev1, procmail-3.22, sendmail-8.12.3
on my solaris 8 mail server, utilising the imap daemon. I have
procmail delivering mail to ~user/.mail successfully and I can send
mail successfully. The problem I am having is that I am unable to
retrieve mail through my mail client, no new messages show up in the
inbox although there are messages in the .mail file.

I am not too sure why this is happening as I have built the same
configuration on other machines without any problems. Any suggestions
on a solution to this would be appreciated.
