Pegasus - Majordomo - reply problem - help needed

On a mailing list I read, members who use pegasus are finding
that it is sending read acknowledgements when the mail is read.
Majordomo is the mailing list manager.

Is there a way to prevent this?

Here is the list mail header with the listname hidden in case that helps:

Return-Path: <owner...@xxxxxx.com>
From: XX XXXX <x...@xxxxxx.com>
Subject: Re: XXX XX XXXXX XX
To: xx...@xxxxxx.com
Date: Tue, 24 Jan 95 9:59:03 PST
In-Reply-To: xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Mailer: xxxxx
Sender: owner...@xxxxxx.com
Precedence: bulk
Reply-To: xx...@xxxxxx.com

The To: is the username, Reply-To, is the list name,
Reteun-path and sender are owner name.
