I need to have 2 personalities (one personal, and one for business). So I
set up the two, and that went fine. However, I have one ISP and I found that
if I enable both personalities to be able to SEND the mail (retrieval is not
a problem), one inevitably fails since they are both going to the same pop
server and fighting each other. I have resorted to manually sending from one
of the personalities but was hoping there was an easier (automatic) way of
doing this.
Thanks

Why would sending be a problem? If anything, I would think trying to
have two personalities use the POP server simultaneously would cause a
conflict. You seem to be a bit confused here; I refer to "the same pop
server".
Anyway, are you getting any error messages?

The POP server has nothing to do with sending mail; this is handled by SMTP server.
You probably have a problem RECEIVING mail if the "address1" and "address2" are actually the same mailbox on the provider's server, one being an alias (or a reference) to the other only.
If this is the case, just disable the mail-fetching functionality from the second personality (Windows - > Personalities, checkmark at the bottom somewhere).
If it's really a problem sending mail, you've probably set up something wrong in the SMTP server field. You need to use your dial-in ISP's SMTP server.

Is there an option box for "send whenever sends are done"?

Simple solution: Spend the extra $1/month or so for a second mailbox at
your ISP (if even that much -- some ISPs will provide a limited number of
multiple mailboxes per dial-up account gratis). OR, set up an account with
one of the freebie mail services which support standard (i.e., POP3/SMTP)
access methods.
