Just type it in like this:

or enclose it in angle brackets
<http://www.eudora.com/>
Just remember not to have any punctuation before or after the URL or
it may not work. Remember, they only show up in incoming messages not
outgoing mesages, so you will not see it highlight and underline when
you create it. Try sending a test message to yourself.

Simply typing it in is all it takes... Like mine in the sig file on
the emailed copy of this post. Some advocate enclosing in
the <url> but the major issue is to not follow up the url with
pounctuation that the user might not edit out, ie
http://www.mindspring.com. <----- note the added period.
or <http://www.mindspring.com.> same scenerio
That will result in the Not Found problem..unless they are quick
enough to notice and react accordingly..

It is the receiving program, not the sending program, that
controls whether it is seen as a hot link.
