I've noticed Eudora always sends a smtp RSET command between the HELO and
the MAIL From: commands. Other e-mail clients do not. Our SMTP server
struggles for some strange reason with these RSET commands (it should reply
with "250 reset state" but doesn't).
My question:
Can Eudora be configured in a way that the RSET command is not sent?
(We use Eudora Light 3.06)
Any suggestion appreciated.
Thanks,

The only thing that springs to mind is to change the RSET command in the
program itself to either nuls or another command. That may have
unintentional side-effects though, and I don't know if I'd recommend it. My
best recommendation is to contact the vendor of the SMTP server and tell
them to fix it.
