Hello,
I just put out the 32-bit 2.2b8 version of Eudora out on our FTP
site. It's <ftp://ftp.qualcomm.com/quest/windows/beta/eud22b8.exe>.
There's also a web page with info about it at
<http://www.qualcomm.com/quest/winbeta.html>.

If you are currently a Eudora Pro user, please feel free to try
the new Beta.

maybe you'd better try:
ftp://ftp.qualcomm.com/quest/eudora/windows/beta/eud22b8.exe

cause the other won't work

I noticed that the Beta will expire Jan 1. Is there going to be a
charge to registised users aand if so how much?

Yes I upgraded from 2.1.2 to 2.2b7, and then 2 days later got 2.2b8
and it install just fine.

No, an upgrader/installer to Eudora 2.2 will be available to all Eudora
2.1.2 users, and of course all 2.x users can (and should) upgrade to 2.1.2
right now with the updaters currently in

Yes, it can install directly over 2.1.2 or 2.2b7.
