Eudora Inbox not showing emails

For some reason when I click on the Inbox Icon on the Toolbar I
suddenly cannot see any of my emails. When I click on the Outbox Icon
there are all my Out emails.
There are now Up Arrow and Down Arrow Icons and clicking on these will
display the Inbox emails. I have never noticed these arrows before
today.
Anyone know how to reset Eudora to display my emails again when I
click on the Inbox Icon on the Toolbar?

What do you see when you open the Inbox? Is the table of contents there
but blank, or is it missing? Or do you mean that the preview window is
blank? If you can't see the table of contents, you probably just need to
grab the divider between it and the preview pane and move it down. Can you
do that? If you can see the table of contents pane, but it is blank, than
there's probably something corrupt in the in.toc file. If that's the
problem, the likely reason is having too many messages in your inbox. How
big is it? IF it is big, you need to get the messages moved to another
mailbox as soon as possible. You should be able to put the focus in the
table of contents pane and use ctrl-a to select all the messages, even if
you can't see them. Do that and then transfer them somewhere else. Once
that's done, make sure the inbox really is empty, close Eudora and delete
in.toc. It will get rebuilt when you start Eudora again.

Where? There is normally a scroll bar for the table of contents. If that
pane was made so small that you couldn't see any of the text in it, you
might end up with just arrows on the left side, although I'd expect you to
be able to see at least one line of text if it was big enough to see the
arrows. The other place that arrows can show up is on the Toolbar. That's
normal.
