How can I set up Eudora 5.02 to access my Hotmail account?

Is this possible?

You don't.

No. Microsoft doesn't make Hotmail's POP servers available to
subscribers.

I don't think MicroSoft wants you to have access to Hotmail unless you
are forced to see their banner ads.

I access Yahoo mail with Eudora without problems ... just have to
enable "Yahoo Delivers" but if you select virtually no "interests"
they hardly ever send stuff themselves. I use my own ISPs SMTP
server since they block using any foreign SMTP ports (25)

Eudora does not support Hotmail directly. However, you can use Pop3Hot
<http://pop3hot.com> to send and receive Hotmail with Eudora (any
version).
