You do not say what version of EUDORA you use. If you look in your
EUDORA.INI file, however, you will find something like the following (I
have EUDORA 2.1.2):
Alert=0
Sound=1
OpenInMailbox=0
EasyOpen=0
NewMailSound=C:\WINDOWS\CHIMES.WAV
I have my mail receitp notification turned off. If it were on, however,
my sould would be the Winodws chimes. I could place the name and location
of anyother .WAV file in the NewMailSouoc= location, however, and if I
turned the notification on, I would get that sound.
Your version of EUDORA is probably similar.

Does the default snippet remind anyone else of Ren and Stimpy's "Log"
commercial?

Heh. The sound I found to use for new mail was Stimpy saying "I smell
something stiiiiiinkyyy!"
Although that would be more appropriate for OLD mail.
