Address book question in 4.0

I keep my mailboxes and address book in the left-hand side segment of
Eudora 4.0. I keep the segment just wide enough to see the names and
make a lot of use of the To: and CC: buttons. However, every so often
I would like to look at the phone entry for a name. This means
manually widening the left segment and then manually putting back to
its small width. Does anybody know of a better way to do this? I was
hoping the >> button would do this but evidently not.
