What's is "base64"? How to decode it??

"X-Mailer: Windows Eudora Light Version 1.5.2"
"Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64"

I have a saved binary file encoded by "base64" .But I don't know
how to decode it.Please tell me the solution. Thanks!!

Base64 is a unix encode fromat. There are several shareware and
freeware incoder/decoders avable. Check out your favorite software
site and search for incode, decode and base64.
The MIME standard suports three base64 encoding algorthims. I sjhb64
to unencode these files.
