My system can perfectly dial the Internet Service Provider number
and I am able to download my mail, without any problem.
Eudora remembers my password.

However, I still cannot figure out how Eudora can simply
check the mail automatically. I thought Eudora would
do it automatically. However, the Dialer pops up and
it waits for me to type the password. I always instruct
Win 95 dialer to remember my password for next time attempt,
but it always waits until I type it again and again.

Does anybody else have the same problem? Is this a bug?

Yes, but not with Eudora. It's a known Win '95 DUN bug. For more info on it,

I resolved that by adding Client for Microsoft networks from the
Network icon in the control panel.

This problem pops up time to time. And I have Client for MS networks
installed.

I reintsall Client every couple of weeks to solve this problem.
Reinstall requires 1) remove the existing version; 2) install from the
orginal souce.

Hope this helps.
