QCSSL.dll for Eudora version 7.1.0.9

Hi,

I'm looking for the patched version of QCSSL.dll for Eudora version 7.1.0.9 to solve the long wait at the first e-mail-check when Eudora launches in Win 7.

I tried patching QCSSL.dll myself but that didn't work. The links I found in several posts to a ready made dll patch for Eudora 7.1.0.9 are all dead ends.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows where I can download the patched version of QCSSL.dll

Glad that solved the OP's problem.

But that link will NOT dowload the file in question unless you sign
into DropBox. The "dl=0" at the end of the link prevents that.

To just quickly get the file downloaded change the "0" (zero) at the
end of that link to a "1"

This link gets you the dowload without having to log into DropBox.

I have had this problem for over six months (Eudora 7.1.0.9 and Windows 7).
The first access to the email server timed out but the second access went just fine.
Followed ClamRake's suggested link and the problem solved.

I had obtained the QCSSL patch a few years ago and everything went fine. Recently Eudora has started to "act up" again -- rejecting SSL certificates and also not making an SSL connection on launch (but working OK after that). I have seen a lot of posts on the certificate issue -- you just have to keep accepting them manually whenever they change -- but is there some new issue with the initial connection? I've made sure my copy of QCSSL.DLL is identical with the patched version. (Running Eudora 7.1.0.9, Windows 7 Professional)
