Could not open the file D:\TEMP\rr68.tmp for reading.
Cause: No such file or directory exists. (2)
D:\TEMP is my system temporary directory. True, I don't see a file
"rr68.tmp" in there anywhere.
I looking in the knowledgebase and there are mentions of AntiVirus software
possibly causing "Spooling" problems. But I've had the Norton AV for years
(current version 2002) without difficulty with Eudora. I've tried excluding
D:\TEMP\rr68.tmp from NAV, but no change in this sudden behavior.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

In looking in the Eudora knowledgebase, I kept getting pointed to an
antivirus solution. Specifically, I use Norton Antivirus and it was
suggested that I should place an exclusion on the spooler file. I tried
this without success.
What apparently was causing the problem was an outgoing message with a
corrupted attachment. I cleaned out my "out" box (which didn't have too much
in it anyway) and the problem disappeared.
For some reason, in this instance, Eudora gave the strange message about not
being able to read the rr68.tmp file in the TEMP directory. It did not
mention a problem with an attachment.
