Trouble with signatures

I have a basic Eudora account and one sub-account. But I can't get
signatures to work in either one. I have set up two signatures, via
Tools/Signatures/new and entering the words I want (just two names in each)
but when I click on the File menu to Save, there is no Save button, only
Save As which puts it somewhere else than Eudora. This may be the problem.
When I go back to Tools/Personalities and try to associate the signature
with each personality, it seems to work. In a new message the signature
selecton box shows a choice of either signature but no matter which one I
select nothing appears at the end of the message.

Yes Options-Show signatures while composing was already checked and I have
full paid version not light. I can't even get one signature to work for
either personality.

I found a solution: created two stationery templates with the signatures
included. That works for what I wanted.
