What Filter rule would I need to block Korean Spam?

If it's not in english, I don't want it.

Also if it's HTML mail, how do i dump it into a probable spam folder?

A lot of what looks like Korean SPAM may actually be someone sitting in
Michigan or elsewhere controlling a server in Korea. Look for the server
information in one of the Received headers and filter on that string, e.g.,
Received: symail.kustanai.co.kr
While you are at it, you will want to add a few Brazilian servers, e.g.,
Received: telebrasilia.net.br
But if the mail is really in Korean, it will have the charset information
iso-2022-kr. Filter on that.

There is a better way, which works with Eudora or any other email client. Look
at the following Web page for an explanation.

If
<body>
contains

No ISP is going to care about a private server, one to which the public does
not have access. The VPOP3 server doesn't even have to be connected to a LAN to
work. You can get the home edition, and use it only to poll your mail accounts
and relay the messages to your email client, all on a single PC. And even if
you opened it to others on a LAN, that would not be a problem for any ISP I
know of.

Why go through the hassel, just download a copy of ComThing from
http://www.comthing.com install it and you'll never get spam again.
Plus you can both download it for free and use it for as long as you
want for free like winzip.

Pat,

You may want to investigate mailwasher - http://www.mailwasher.net which is
free and quite powerful. To begin, you can have it show you all your mail
before it's downloaded and allow you to delete and/or bounce it. Over time,
you can build up a "blacklist" and, if you want, it will automatically
bounce and delete the junk. It also supports rules such as "not to me" that
can be quite powerful. Much of this can be done with filters (don't think
you can bounce with Eudora, though), but mailwasher is easier and faster.

HTH!

The problem with programs like Mailwasher is that they are unable to send
whitelist messages directly to your email client, automatically. The Mailwasher
people say this is a feature they plan to implement in the future, but until
they do, it is unacceptable to have to put all your messages on hold until you
can weed out the SPAM.

The method described on my Web site does not have that disadvantage, by the
way. Whitelisted mail is downloaded automatically to Eudora or any other mail
client you choose. Blacklisted mail gets deleted on the server without being
downloaded. Anything else triggers a query to your mail client.
