Each time I start my E-mail, I see the names of several of my Mailboxes
flickering at me one after the other. What can I do to not see that
anymore?

Bring it up and close all the windows you don't want to see by
clicking on the X up in the corner ..top right.
When you are done with a window such as out box ,close it up with the
X do not just minimize it. .close it. and that won't happen. after
you close them all the screen will be blank.. just double click the in
box and it will open and be ready for mail.
