Hello,
Some of you may have used or heard of the backup software, DeskTape.
This is a really great piece of software in which the tape unit appears
as a hard drive, enabling you to drag files from one device to another.
This is the ultimate in interface intuitiveness and simplicity. The
company that sold me the product is now out of business, but the
software is now owned by and supported by EZ Data Technology,
http://www.ez-datatech.com/. They have upgrades available and
are working on an OS X version. The old company Optima Technology
ceased operation in 1999 and no longer answers phone or email
messages.
