I have a H-P N3215 and inadvertantly made an incorrect video setting.
How can I restore to the original? When it boots up all I see is
unreadible screen. Any help appreciated.

What OS are you running?
Windows 98, 2000 or XP.

Anyway, by pressing the key "f8", you might enter into the "safe mode"
and then you can restore the video settings to the default.
Or, you can also restore the OS to a previous known working state. But
the instructions are different for each OS, please let us know.

Running Win98
F8 doesn't work.
Screen indicates F2 for setup
Tried that with video to "autosense"; was LCD.
Same result.

I finally did a complete reinstall of WIN98 and have regained my LCD
settings.
Thanks for your help.
