Hello,
I'm using xHarbour with HWGUI lib in my commercial apps. I've modyfied this lib but i try to keep with SVN sources as much as possible.( Almost all changes were needed becouse of lacking functionality before it was implemented by developers ) Recently i've seen that author of the oryginal lib Aleksander Kresin is back (i've read his critical opinion about svn sources and yet I haven't analized his new version sources ) and new changes he makes are based on his OLD sources and kept in his site. So there are my questions to all of you using HWGUI:
1. Is SVN version of HWGUI stopped ?
2. Is HWGUI now directed especially for Harbour and xHarbour is or will be abandoned? ( see new visual debugger)
3. Is there any HWGUI dedicated discussion group
4. Is A.Kresin accepting contributions or changes to HWGUI ? ( question rather for Aleksander I suppouse :) )

Hello,

personally I use for all my development HwGUI 2.16c - the version, which can be downloaded from my website, the reasons are presented in my messages to HwGUI developers list. I incorporated there those innovations from SVN version, which I found useful - with some cleanup. I'm trying to clean the SVN version to bring it to a state, when I could use it, because two HwGUI - it's too much, but this demands a lot of work yet.
But the GTK version, which is redesigned in a last month, is identical in 2.16c and SVN, the same about dbchw and the debugger. All new changes in these parts I immedeately upload to SVN.

> 1. Is SVN version of HWGUI stopped ?

No.

> 2. Is HWGUI now directed especially for Harbour and xHarbour is or will be abandoned? ( see new visual debugger)

No. The visual debugger works with xHarbour, too.

What about the developers list ?

> 4. Is A.Kresin accepting contributions or changes to HWGUI ? ( question rather for Aleksander I suppouse :) )

Complex issue :). Yes, I accept, but I can't promise to review them quickly, because of deficit of time.

Regards, Alexander.
