If you have recently changed IP address (like most of us that have IP addresses that change weekly), then you will have to send Mel and email with your current IP address.

Hi Otto:

I just examined my Access.log and noticed your attempts from a slightly
different IP root. I just changed my httpd.conf file to accommodate this
change.

Good Luck !

and David:

Thanks for the additional note. btw, I know that people with dynamic
IPs have them changed frequently. Even my own IP is dynamic, and
consequently, if/when my own IP changes, I have to dance thru a bunch of
whoops to get my server accessible again. But, if the user gives me an IP
(say, 123.456.789.555), I usually allow access to the following range of
IPs. --- 123.456.xxx.yyy

However, since I moved back up north I've had the same IP since April
1st -- but it normally changes every few months, usually late on Sunday
nites, then I have to scramble.

Now, I'm gone for the day golfing :))

Between my DLink router, and name service by DynDNS, I do not have to scramble. As soon as my IP address is changed, the router updates my A record...

No scrambling for me. Might be cheaper ways too. Anyone?

Thanks a lot.
I'm testing a new Router. That is perhaps the reason!

Hi David:

I havd ZoneEdit's Dynamic Update Client running on my server machine.
I'm still waiting for an IP change from my ISP to see what happens with my
'cloaked' URL and port (ww2.whosaway.com:4296) and IP address at ZoneEdit
when my ISP does his 'summer housecleaning'. I'll let you know .
