Business-process description:
Our clients (hospitals - 250-300 in our region) will send to our
office address their reports on the patients by an influenza EVERY
day. They will attach 4 XLS-files to their mail message (for example
"a01.xls", "b01.xls", "c01.xls" and "d01.xls"). We will must read all
mails and "save to" all needed attaches. And once per day other
program (not my!) will make the consolidated report...
My program must (one time per hour):
1) connect to POP3-server (I khow how to do it);
2) login (I know);
3) get list of NEW mails (I DON'T know - how to separate "old" and
"new" mails);
4) read mail message (I don't know);
5) check: "do you have attachment(s)?" :) (I don't know)
6) if answer "yes" - get list of attachment(s); (I don't know)
7) check: "do we have ALL needed attachment(s) (a, b, c, d)?" (if I
have list - I know how to do it);
8) save all attachments to pre-defined folder (I don't know - how to
"save attachment to..."?)
9) marked this mail as "read" (I don't know how - or it will be done
automatically?)
10) if it's not the end of mail's list - goto (4).
I ask of the help and advices on work with the TIP library (simple
samples or documentation about functions and usage - I haven't access

day.

Maybe it's not interesting theme for peolpe here?
But (if someone need help about using TIP library - "how I can get
access to HTTP, FTP, POP, SMTP servers; send/recieve mails etc.) - I
decided to write simple HTML-Help package (what I know already about
it). I posted today on HMGforum only one page - for 1st test (NB:
links to other pages don't work yet!)
Look - if it's interesting for you... and "any help from my friends
are welcome!" (mistakes and bad Engish exists - I'm sure :) - so
correct me if you can and want).
I posted it on HMGforum - here http://hmgforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=977
