Hello everybody,

I have some questions for you :

1- I heard that Synopsys does not support VHDL-93 for synthesis. Is it true ?

2-Does anybody know where I can find informations about the differences
between VHDL-93 and VHDL-87 ( a web link please... not a book...)? By the
way, which one of those standards do you prefer to use for synthesis? And
why?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes it is true. However, it is not only limited to synthesis, this is true
for Synopsys VSS simulators as well.

Don't know of a web site, have you tried www.vhdl.com?

VHDL-1987 is my preference because, all tools will support it.
