Tk macOS Big Sur compatibility

Has somebody been able to test a recent Tk on the Big Sur beta recently released by Apple and can report if Tk still works? I am having trouble in installing the beta, but I would like to hear if somebody has first experiences (since the disaster breakages last mcOS updates caused).

There have only been a few check-ins so far, which might be a good sign
that things aren't totally broken:

A developer with early access to Big Sur had opened a ticket, which I
think was addressed (I want to say it was merely due to an outdated
Tcl/Tk shipped with Python); however the ticket appears to have been
removed from public view.

I personally might not get to try Big Sur; my Macs are too old, and
community efforts to hack-in support for them appear much more difficult
this time around.

Hi!

It looks like Tkinter on the newest Python 3.9 (with Tk 6.8.8) has problems on Big Sur (https://bugs.python.org/issue41548). Also Tkinter-based Thonny, which also uses Tk 6.8.8 on macOS (https://twitter.com/JacobAnderson29/status/1284972238421127168).

Unfortunately support for my Mac was dropped so I can't check, whether building Tkinter against Tk 8.6.10 helps.
