On comp.lang.tcl is business as usual: people ask for help, seek for
hints and the gurus helpfully and dutifully answer to the questions
that
have been put. But it is not a week like every other week. The much
beloved creature of John Ousterhout is been celebrated at the annual
conference being held in the charming city of New Orleans. The
schedule is juicy, the speakers the most authoritative on Tcl...
still nothing of what is going on there has leaked on the newsgroup.
Please, let us know something: about tcl8.5 release date(***I've seen
a beta has been released**), about the OOP paradigm that will
be officially adopted and supported, the enticing OO dynamical
web content generator. I can't help I'm stuck in Europe and can't even
know
the gossips. (By the way: what was the best outfit at the "creative"
formal
dinner?)

ciao

See the following page. Michael Cleverly deserves a huge round of
applause for keeping us up to date.

But I definitely like the combination of photos and summaries at

Excellent ! Thanks for the link !
However, ghq.tcl.tk seems to go up and down (I seem to be able to kill
it by clicking on a photo -- then it comes back up a few minutes
later). It stays pingable, must be at the webserver or cgi level.
