Has anyone written any tcl/tk extensions to talk to
digital cameras using the gphoto2 library ?

http://www.gphoto.net/gphoto2/

"gPhoto 2.0 is being hosted in Sourceforge CVS.
gPhoto2 has no dependencies on any desktop or GUI toolkit!
It also adds USB support for cameras that can support it!

Please note that what you get with gPhoto 2.0 is not what you
got with gPhoto1 (0.4.x).
gPhoto 2.0 is a set of libraries for accessing digital cameras.
The only interface that it comes with is a command-line
interface. You must download graphical applications
separately from the gPhoto2 software. Don't worry though:
there are plans for native KDE, GNOME, and other frontends.
Hopefully your favorite applications will support gPhoto 2.0!"

Have you looked into the TCL FAQ at

http://www.purl.org/NET/Tcl-FAQ/
?

If there is none, would you be willing to SWIG it ?

According to Andreas Kupries <a.ku...@westend.com>:

There's nothing there. However, at http://www.gphoto.org/'s todo list/
roadmap, Tcl support is listed. Perhaps one or more interested parties
could work on SWIGing the library and contributing the work to the
effort?
